Local tours in Beijing, and pre- and post-conference tours in China (such as Xi’an, Guilin, Tibet, etc.) can be arranged by the conference via China Tour Service (CTS), the biggest travel agency in China with excellent reputation for domestic travel.

CTS (www.ctsho.com) has routine tours available. Although they do not release fares for 2006, but based on 2005 price, the cost for Beijing-Tibet-Beijing is 6480, 7280 and 6780 Yuan (RMB) depend on the route; Beijing-Guilin-Beijing is 2800 Yuan; Beijing-Nanjing-Suzhou- Hangzhou-Shanghai-Beijing is 1360 Yuan.

You can check the website for their regular tours. Three special designed tours (with English speaking tour guide) for the conference attendees are listed below. These are tentative tour plans used as samples and can be modified.  You can either use it, or organize your own but it is necessary to have a minimum of 8-10 people for cost saving, please consult CTS.
